I’m old enough to remember when companies offered free food, beautiful offices and unlimited sick days as perks. People were shocked Google offered these things when I worked there in 2013. But now l, the single most important perk a company can offer is unlimited AI tokens. Give me that, a foot pedal, a Wispr subscription and the ability to push to production across multiple projects. That’s the whole package, all I want. The companies rationing AI access to “control costs” are making the most expensive decision possible. They’re capping the cognitive horsepower of every person on payroll. If your employer won’t give you unlimited tokens, they don’t understand the moment we’re in. Let them go back to their free lunch.
