Dans une lettre adressée à la Chambre des représentants, le ministre des Finances Heinen a déclaré que la taxe sur les gains non réalisés de 36 % allait être mise en place pour 2028, du moins jusqu'à ce qu'ils trouvent un meilleur système.
Cela doit encore passer au Sénat - mais il est assez certain que la taxe uPnL arrive. Bientôt.

BIG NEWS: The Dutch government is going to change the BOX 3 law, which proposed a ridiculous 36% unrealized gains tax!
In an interview with RTL News, the newly appointed minister of finance - Eelco Heinen (VVD) - says 'I don't think this law can pass in its current form. Something must've gone wrong along the way, it needs to change'.
Obviously still very uncertain on what this means exactly - but the fact that they're going to take another close look at the bill stands.
Perhaps time to move to a system akin to the rest of the world, with taxes levied only upon realized gains?
